A lot of people are mistaken for they are caught by the wrong beliefs. And I totally agree with these 3 Myths as eMailed to me by HARV EKER:

"Myth #1: You need to be debt-free before you can work on becoming financially free."

Our definition of financial freedom is when your passive income exceeds your monthly expenses. SO even if you have monthly payables, amortization, and credit card debts, you can still be financially free. As long as your passive income exceeds your expenses.

Myth #2: You’re too old (or too young) for financial freedom.

What you focus on expands! The sooner you start focusing on financial freedom, the sooner you’ll reach it. It doesn't matter what season in your life you are in. It doesn't matter how old or young you are. The important thing is you start your journey to financial freedom. I started my journey when I was 51, and did it in 5 years.

Myth #3: You need to be rich before you can be financially free.

Being rich doesn't mean being financially free. For instance, we've all heard of famous celebrities or athletes with million-dollar contracts who wind up owing so much money that they go bankrupt. They were rich but not financially free.

For me, Financial Freedom simply means that your monthly INCOME from whatever source or sources, be it PASSIVE or ACTIVE is more than what YOU NEED. It's having Peace of Mind.

As ROBERT KIYOSAKI would put it, "For me, it's about freedom to spend my time the way I choose."

Time Wealth Health...

3 major factors in Life: Time, Wealth, Health. When we are very young, we can be healthy and may have time but we may not have wealth.

When we are are middle age, we may still be healthy, but we may not have the time for we are busy building our wealth.

In our senior years, we may have the time and wealth but we may not be healthy.

So it is essential that we create a good balance and be able to stay healthy, wealthy and with time freedom.

In IMG, I am glad I reach that balance. I have the time freedom. I am healthy and stress free. And I have the financial capability to travel the World, go cruising, enjoy life.

We just came from Korea then in about amonth flew to Taipei. On then in Japan, then fly to Sydney. Return by end of June then by August fly to Europe for our Baltic Cruise, the by September do the Mediterranean Cruise all in one year 2023. And not yet finalized maybe spend a week in Hawaii and then Vienna!

Thanks be to God for this amazing life of freedom and balance. Thanks to IMG!

We Can Achieve Our Goals By Teaming Up and Cooperation

What is the best way to achieve your goals?

“One day, as a child, I was having a really tough time at school. A really big project about Pearl Harbor was coming due and I was getting nowhere with it.

My poor dad, the head of education for the state of Hawaii, told me to lock myself in my room with the set of encyclopedias and to stay there until I was done.

So, I did.

I also received a ‘D’ on the project.

My father, poor dad, could not understand how I did so poorly. I tried explaining how boring it was. How I thought I was doing it well, but…None of my excuses cured his frustration.

The only thing that helped him calm down was that the teacher was allowing anyone who wanted a second chance to redo the assignment.

This time I asked rich dad what I should do. He said, “There are three ways a person can win.”

Here are the three:

By putting others down

By trying your best

By teaming up and cooperating

Well number one was not going to work. That whole school was smarter than me and everyone knew it. I already tried number two and got a ‘D’. So, I figured I should try number three.

Since I hated reading, my rich dad suggested I speak to some of the older people I knew who would remember, or at least have first-hand stories of what happened at Pearl Harbor. And so, I did. Amazingly so many of the elder Hawaiians were eager to tell me their stories. They also took a great interest in how my project went.

They all helped me in many different ways. All of them told me stories, but some of them helped me write them down. Others helped me organize the stories and still, others helped me combine the stories and the organization into an amazing, well crafted, well-written essay.

I got an ‘A’. And I did it by teaming up and cooperating.

Now that I’m much older I still see the three different ways of winning but know that cooperation is the one that works for me.
