Take Charge...

As a child we are all dependent from our parents. When we started to learn how to walk and talk, we started our journey to our independence. We started to take charge on what we want to drink, eat, and even what to wear.

Same with IMG Business. We are nurtured and trained by our Trainers in the beginning and then we eventually we must take charge.

So how do we know we are already taking charge?

See p 300-301 of the System Builder Book. Be guided too by this experience we have:

“Be Independent Towards Financial Independence”

  • Commit to your Business
  • Hire yourself as a SHEPHERD
  • Aggressively pursue your goals (B &P- Top Ten Reasons)
  • Read and Review and FOLLOW the System
  • Go to the meetings and training sessions
  • Enjoy and PASS-ON the process

By Benj Santiago

  • COMMIT TO YOUR BUSINESS:

So the first thing Fely and I did was to commit seriously to this IMG Business. We erased all the previous notions and prejudice about IMG. This includes our initial thought that IMG is another one of those multilevel marketing, pyramiding scheme. We committed 110% of our efforts and time and resources to this IMG Business.

  • HIRE YOURSELF AS A SHEPHERD:

Then we formed our team and hired ourselves not as President CEO but as a Shepherd. In the corporate set-up, there is too much pressure. One must meet certain job load quota, or in sales, a target number of sales.. But in IMG Business, we coach people to be successful in their own business, and in as much as it is their own business, we do not boss around and dictate, manage, or supervise people on how to do their business. We are like shepherds taking care of the flock... not a land owner driving slaves what to do.

  • AGGRESSIVELY PURSUE YOUR GOALS:

The team created a strategic plan for the next 5 years how we would see the business. We also defined together the near term goals for each one of us. More importantly we defined our top ten reasons why we want to be successful in our business. These compelling reasons are our inspiration to hurdle any difficulties, rejections, and hurt we encounter along the way. We defined actions to aggressively pursue these goals. We visualize and act on it.

  • READ AND REVIEW AND FOLLOW THE SYSTEM:

With the business manual provided to us (System Builder), all we did was to read and learn and follow the system. We attended the coaching and training in doing our own financial management and investing and listened and did what our head coach (Xuan and Noel and Joen) had shared to us. We followed the system. Then Fely and I downloaded this to the team using the available technologies.

  • GO TO THE MEETING AND TRAINING SESSIONS:

Fely and I never missed any opportunity to learn from our coaches in IMG. We absorb as much as we can, relate it to our own experience and innovate for improvements. We also made sure we create our own meetings and relay what we learn to our team.

  • ENJOY AND PASS IT ON:

Duplication is the key to making our business in IMG big. We have to duplicate our successes to our team. Attending the meeting and creating our own meeting gave us the opportunity to pass on our learning to our team. And to keep us going, we focus on the positive. We enjoy the process. We noticed that if we pressure ourselves in getting to our goals, the more it goes further from reality. But when we focus on the positive, if we enjoy the process then we achieve what we set as goals.

We are so thankful to the Lord for what we have so far accomplished in this business and would like to be of help to more people to attain their success too.

Email us or send us comments or inquiries and we will be more than happy to serve you and enable you to take charge of your IMG business!

God bless us all!

The last D in Investing: Discipline

We may have the literacy but if we do not have the Discipline we won't be successful in investing. The execution in consistent monthly investing specially in the beginning is the major challenge we face. Fely and I had to re-program ourselves from the habit of spending to the habit of investing. We find it so easy to spend but so difficult to invest. I have seen the same struggle for most specially the young professionals who have just started with their career and had their first taste of having income.

Discipline is something Fely and I have to personally develop. This is not something that can be taught nor be coached. It must come from within. And we were able to develop this habit of investing by consistently investing monthly until the habit is formed, and investing became automatically a discipline.

Happy Investing.

God bless us all!

Divesify

With the Directions defined we need to make sure we diversify. We must not place our investments in just one vehicle. The proverbial saying: "do not put your eggs in one basket". Our next step is to find appropriate investment vehicles for each of our goals. Fely and I classified our goals first into short term, medium term and long term. Short term are goals within one year, medium term is about 5 years and more than that we consider long term.

We then allocated amounts for each of the goals we set. For example, we saw the need for long term healthcare. We then calculated based on our current need how much we will be needing 15 years from now. We also calculated how much daily, monthly, annual expenses we will have based on our desired lifestyle 10 years from now. We factor in a 7% inflation rate to make our goals more aggressive. We did this calculations for each of our major investment goals.

Then we selected the appropriate investment vehicles for each of our need. We use short term investment instruments for short term goal and long term investment instruments for long term goals. By this process alone, we already have diversified our investments. We have placed our investments in different investment vehicles appropriate for the term we will use it and risk return factors.

This is the beauty of having literacy. We know what instruments we can use for each of our investment needs. We encourage those who just invest on one instrument like real state, or even on gold, or cars, or what they just know as investment to make sure they seek out directions from those who are in the know and who have genuine intention in helping them properly manage their investments.

Contact us if you need to know how to diversify safely and appropriately so you can achieve your goals.....

God bless!

Direction in Investing

The first of the 3D: Direction

I like comparing investing or growing money to going to Baguio. Baguio is the destination, but there are many ways and many vehicles to use to get there. But certainly, the only way you can get there is if you have the right direction. If you are in Manila and going to Baguio, you should travel to the direction generally northwards. Even if you ride a plane which could get you there, if you veer towards the south, you wont get there. I believe you got the point.

So the first thing we did was to define our investment direction. And by direction, my true compass tells me I must define my purpose for investing. Fely and I were doing investing in the past but it was definitely directionless. "Masabi lang na may investment" (just to have the esteem of being an investor). We buy properties, invest on stocks both local and abroad, and we buy things we thought is investing. We invested on business we do not even know.

Now, we know better for we have great coaches. We defined how much and when and what for do we invest for. Example of this is to have our long term healthcare protection of 1.2M Php by 2022 for the whole family. Another is to have 200K Php per month investment income generation by 2017.

To get to our desired destination, we got to have someone direct us to it. The best person will be someone who had been there. We can get to our destination by ourselves, but we may get lost somewhere. It is going to be easier, and less costly, and you can guarantee success if you have someone to direct your steps.

You want to learn more about this...contact us for coaching...We will surely help you define your own Investment Direction...

God Bless!

3D in Investing...

It's been a long while since I promised to share on this blogspot about 3D’s of Investing….3D's that Fely and I have in INVESTING: Direction, Diversification, Discipline....

DIRECTION- We learned what we are getting into by having somebody coach us or direct, then we ourselves studied and learn so we can direct ourselves...

DIVERSIFICATION- then Fely and I made sure we do not put all your eggs in one basket...we have made sure we have proper allocations for each of the important financial goals with appropriate financial instruments...

DISCIPLINE - and to be successful, we must do it consistently with the right mindset and attitude of a disciplined investor... and to make it more meaningful and enforced, we went on a mission to share what we do to someone or many others to duplicate or emulate what we do!

This is what we learned and continually do in IMG !....

The ABCs of Successful Business!

"If you want to succeed in business you need to know and be the A B C.

A-ction Oriented
B- old
C- reative"

Dean Pax Lapid

"ACTION ORIENTED- In business there are also 3S: Struggle, Success, Significance. In your Struggles there are "3S" you need to do. Seeking Opportunity, Sizing it, and Seizing it.

Wannabees are wanting they do not move but just dream or wish. Entreps are committed. They ACT.

Challenge question: is luck necessary to succeed in business? Not really. What are needed are PREPAREDNESS and OPPORTUNITY.

Kaplan Norton recommends that we Describe, Measure or Manage, and Multiply business to be successful. (Exactly what we do in IMG)

Stages in business building: create business idea, do the business plans, do product development , and finally market testing before the commercialization.

In marketing, we must retain customers, create new ones, and create a niche.

3 Questions:
Who are you as the venture? Describe. Ex. Rice topping serving hospitals
What is your promise? To be the best and healthiest
How will you deliver? Not just about being cheap or fast.

BOLD- thinks beyond the comfort zone. Consistently sustainable. Entrepreneurs expand the market. From restaurant business to food service to hospital industry. Entrepreneurs identify models that will make more money..

The supply chain: Producers> Warehouse> Distribution> Wholesaler Traders> Retailer
You identify which part of the chain you will be in.

Be Bold- prepared and committed.

CREATIVE in PRODUCT AND MARKET- Entrepreneurs see the extraordinary in the middle of the ordinary. Creative challenge moves from perspiration to inspiration. From competence to serendipity (accidental discovery).

Entreps turn irritation to business opportunity. From "inis to business". Ex. Smoke and dust from riding jeeps led to business of vans.

Great challenge- successful business opportunity.

Only when it is anchored on a product or services that creates value for its customers. The greater fit, the greater the value.

What are the opportunity areas:
Changes in environment. Climate change. Going green.
Innovation
Someone's problems
Better than copy

Nothing is perfect everything is evolving. So grab opportunity when you are semi ready.

It is not about timing but of direction."

Today in the midst of a Pandemic, these ABCs , IMG has ACTED and is Prepared to make the Adaptive changes ahead of the actual need. We had been in the ONLINE Business even before the Pandemic struck. And our products continuous to be the "needs" and the "solution" to problems of many. We are lucky and prepared!

How to be REMARKABLE!

Bo Sanchez
How to be Remarkable

"Many changes has happened all around us that before, to be remarkable you need just advertising. You simply invent a product that people want, make a big media advertisement, and you can make big money! But now, advertising alone no longer work. It is too noisy. Instead, people are trusting their friends for advise. Not so much the advertisements. The problem today is that there are too much noise and people are too busy. So what should we do to be remarkable?

So are our business remarkable of invisible? So remarkable that marketing is the product itself.

The opposite of remarkable is very good. A little bit better and a little bit cheaper is boring! You have to strive to be remarkable. And the key to becoming remarkable:

You must design a product that is remarkable enough to attract the early adapters.

Find out what is your "otaku" (obsession). Unless you have passion for your product it will be difficult to make it remarkable.

Focus on your "sneezers" and ignore the rest.

Being safe is risky because safe is boring.

If you are not being criticized then you are not remarkable.

What was remarkable before is no longer remarkable now. The price of wow keeps on rising.

Focus on relationships. Relationships lasts... products don't. Establish your relationships with your innovators and early "adaptors".

When you harvest make sure you save seeds for your next planting.

While your product is remarkable, earn as much as you can. Because it wont last. And put your earnings in R&D for the next remarkable product."

These qualities of being remarkable I find in IMG.... whoooosh!!!!

Be Better not Cheaper...

Benedict Hernandez
President , Accenture and BPAP
My Story

Benedict is a UP AB Psychology graduate, Magna Cum Laude. He is also a TOYM Awardee alongside Bro Bo Sanchez. He got his TOYM. For Business Development which has been awarded yet to big business icons like Jaime Zobel Ayala, John Gokongwei.

He has always been very positive in life. He is fondly called as sunshine kid in his early childhood days and till now exhides everything that is positive. He has that automatic mind switch from problems to solutions. Dwelling always on what can make the situation positive.

Benedict started his career with a start up company called Smart in 93. They set their sights in acquiring PLDT and what they thought as initially a joke became reality when Smart acquired PLDT in 1998. In 2000 Benedict was assigned as GM of a start up company called Etelecare. They were about 50 people when they start with most of the crew coming from Ateneo. From that group started the call center business of eTelecare which grew and became the trail blazer in the call center industry.

He was always blessed in his career. He had focused on high quality and not being cheap. In his stint under etelecare, they did not have any client, nor are they clear as to their system on the first 6 months. They had no renue but that 6 months was used as practice. After 7 years, the company grew from 50 to more than 10,000 people with more than 300M$ revenue per year.

Benedict's vision of the company is to be the most awarded call center company in the world. True enough, they were awarded with more than 100 International Awards and , given the Best Employer Award by the Philippine Government.

He has made it a battle-cry that " the Filipinos are gonna be better and not cheaper!"

In 2010, with his leadership as President of BPAP, the Hilippines has been declared as the number 1 and biggest call center business in the world!

Philippines has a 10% disadvantage in cost compared to India, but we proved that we simply are better, not cheaper.

He sees that the next big thing in the BPO is the non-voice focused on IT SERVICE for Finance and Accounting. The country will be the premier destination for this BPO service!

Accenture is a 27yr old company with dark past being connected with the massive fraudulent company called ENRON. They have risen from this and from 2009 to 2012 had ben their best years in the business growing about double in employment from about 15,000 to almost 30,000.

Benedict attributes this tremendous growth in view of their culture of OWNERSHIP. He modified MBO - Management By Objectives to Management aby Ownership. He gave the employees a sense of entrepreneurship. Making people care about the organization.

Then he shared what for him is OWNERSHIP by detailing the last four letters SHIP.

S-hared Responsibility
H-umility
I-nvolvement
P- urpose

PASSION FOR PURPOSE

He has driven his people to a commom purpose. Making all passionate with common vision and mission of the organization. Everyone believes in what they do. They make their best effort for they connect it to the higher purpose of reflecting to the entire Filipino, and the individual contribution to the Philippine economy their way of handling each person that they serve. Their employees feel that they do contribute to creating more jobs by making su they deliver their excellent service each time.

His organization believes, and he believes that the best IT professionals comes from the Philippines and this is their shared vision and mission. Connecting this to the higher purpose. Something bigger than what they individually do.

INVOLVEMENT

Real involvement of people. Asking people to co-create the vision. They involve the people to make them feel and have a sense of ownership. No longer do they use the carrot and stick method but people empowerment by making them part of the solution process. The employees feel that "this is my company and I can make a differnece".

HUMILITY

Expertise does not reside only on the leaders. Iteill be good to have leaders who are experts but is far greater to make the whole team a team of experts. Leaders should not be the lone rock star. The whole team must be the team of rock stars!

To do this, "trust the wisdom and experience of your frontliners". Do not carry the whole load on your shoulders. You have a team to carry the load with you.

SHARED RESPONSIBILITY

Sink and swim together!

Success begets success.

Success is happiness. Happiness is discovering and pursuing your passion

Duplication... Perpetuates Your Being a Champion

How long would you like to hold on being a champion? Do you know that you can be a champion forever? Ask me how? Duplicate yourself so that you can perpetuate your champion status. The world continues because of duplication. Bro Bo in his latest book “How to Prosper” expounded the reason and wonder of duplication. It is Bro Bo’s ACTION 4 in aforementioned book p59-67.

But how do we successfully duplicate doing our IMG Mission? We just have to follow our System. In short we must be SYSTEM DRIVEN. Our Field Training and Meetings and Events are all geared towards making duplicates…. that are in compliance to a proven methodology or system. Just like Jollibee, that follows a certain system on how the facade of the outlet will look like, how the counter will be arranged, how the patties are prepared, how the crew are trained and dressed, these all follow a uniform rules and procedures or system. Systems make sure that the results will be repeatable and predictable. No System = “Tsamba” (Chance of Success), With System = Predictable and Repeatable Success…

In my experience as Training Manager for big electronics manufacturing companies, we train our people based on a uniform system and procedures we call Specifications and this is done all over the factory and all over the world where we have factories. This ensures that a proven system is duplicated and implemented all over to guarantee the same quality of our end product. Same in IMG, to guarantee success and create champions, we must adhere and be driven by the system.

I had gone out to the field and got trained on how to arrange meetings, BMPs (Bring Meeting to the People) and how to conduct one. Then, we also got trained how to conduct BPM (Bring People to the Meeting). This is our system of duplication which we had passed on to our duplicates and who in turn pass on to their own duplicates, thus making us rapidly do the duplication process, and in turn guarantee that duplication gets perpetuated. And when the duplication is done according to the SYSTEM then, achieving success is predictable and guaranteed.

This brings us to the next thing we need to do in our Mission in IMG which is to Duplicate Deep and WideWhat does that exactly mean? It simply means that we must ensure that people whom we take in as direct business partners are our exact duplicates and the business partners they have are also their exact copies. If we make a mistake in the setting up of our first business partner, the mistake is duplicated and magnified to the next copies. Just like in actual photocopying. If the master copy is not clear, all other copies becomes unclear and degrades further down. And, again, you can only ensure you have proper duplication if it is based on a system.

And how do we do this? We need to make sure that we develop, guide and coach our direct business partners as well as find time to assist and check how they train their directs also. We also need to ensure that we check on the training materials being used if it is in compliance with the system. It is not so much of the way it is presented, but is more of what is being presented. Build wide is to have many direct copies. Build deep is to have more copies of your direct copies… That way, multiplication and compounding works to your advantage.

What are we duplicating? Ask me what? … We would like people to duplicate us…our journey towards financial freedom, our change life… That is our MISSION…. So to make sure we become real Champions in the eyes of men and the eyes of God, we must make sure we really change people’s lives starting with ourselves. We have to focus on that MISSION.

I read this story about St. Anthony the Great (The Patron Saint of all Monks). One time in the life of this great saint he got a notice that people are about to visit him who lived by words and arguments. They wanted to hear his words and his arguments on the truth of Christianity and the value of asceticism. But he refused to play their game. He told them that if they truly thought him wise, "If you think me wise, become what I am, for we ought to imitate the good. Had I gone to you, I should have imitated you, but, since you have come to me, become what I am, for I am a Christian."

The lesson I learn from this great saint is that, it is not so much of the intellect and words that really matters, it is what we do and who we are or what we have become that needs to be duplicated. And this is what we must focus on…Become what we preach and then have ourselves duplicated. Become financially free and create people, convert people, transform people to become financially independent too. That’s our focus in duplication.

Finally, the last thing I believe we need to make sure we do to ensure we are indeed true champions is to make sure we Stay CONNECTED and Updated… Kodak, the largest photo film maker in the whole world collapsed after 135 years of existence. Why did this happen? You want to know my simple theory about it? They failed to connect and ride on the changes that were swiftly happening. They were not able to connect and update to the digitized world of photography and they perished.

The lesson here is to stay as champions, we got to be forward looking and always updated. In our System getting updated means having the Meeting Mentality. For it is in the meetings that we stay connected and updated. What meetings do we have to attend? In our IMG Mission, just like our church mission, we have to make sure we always go to church regularly to get refreshed and refocused. Just like an operating system, you have to get updated so you can cope up with the latest. Imagine your computer OS still un-updated to at least Windows 7, wow…there are a lot of applications that won’t run in your computer. You got to stay connected or face the consequence of being obsolete…..

You see, duplication of obsoletes leads to naught…. Thus duplication that is for real champions is not mere copying. Duplication is “copying in motion”. What I mean by that is , the master copy is continually improved, and the copies are revised. And to be one or two steps ahead of competition, we have to connect not just with what is now, but what is ahead.

Let’s go back to Manny Pacquiao our undisputed champion of champions. His style of boxing, and his techniques are not the same when he started to box. He has continually improved and upgraded his skills that enabled him to beat champions on the next heavier weight divisions. He did not update his skills on his current weight divisions and challengers but on the next higher weight division…what was ahead of him.

Much the same way with us in this IMG Mission. We have to continually update and upgrade our knowledge and skills by attending continuing education and seminar, attending convention and meetings, and making sure that we are updated. Then we need to upgrade our skills and capabilities on what is now and what lies ahead. In our team, that is what we do. We are always on the go to be one to two steps ahead of the rest. We use technology and the multi-media to our best advantage. Then, to ensure success, we have to make sure the rest of our team are also updated and upgraded.

You want to be Champion Forever? DUPLICATE..Duplicate by adhering to the system, doing it deep and wide, always guided and focused on the mission and do it at least one step ahead.

God bless us all, and God bless our mission!!!

Relentless CHAMPIONS of 2012

Manny Pacquiao have goals and been continuously coached and trained, but that won’t guarantee him to be a Champion. He also need to be Relentless in his pursuit to be a true champion. What is being relentless? Webster defines it as: showing or promising no abatement of severity, intensity, strength or pace…. Clear? “Mas madali intindihin pag tagalog”: “walang tigil” , "tuloy tuloy"…. “di tumitirik (Easier said in the vernacular: unstoppable)… We saw Manny climb from one weight division to the next higher level.

So that’s the first thing we have to put into practice, like what Manny did, we need to continuously upgrade our goals. Once we achieve a particular goal, we should not rest on our laurels and stay complacent. We must drive to the next higher goal. And if we do it continually we ride on the momentum. Take anything in motion, like a bus or car. If it stops and goes towards a certain destination (goal), it takes more time and more gasoline (effort) to do it. But if it is continuous, it rides on the speed and momentum and reaches the destination faster. Same way in being a champion in our IMG Mission. The pursuit of the next higher level of performance and achievements can only be sustained by increasing your goals continually relentlessly. Our performance is tied up to our proficiency. The more we do what we do, the more we become proficient and thus our performance increases. If we stop increasing our goals, we would also stop growing in our proficiency and stagnate. In our 4 years of doing the IMG Mission, we always come up with an aggressive goals doubling even tripling our quarterly performance to keep us going. More often , we missed on our target, but we certainly become better than the last time.

In the Gospel of Luke 18: 5 “Yet because this widow troubleth me. I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.” How do we stay relentless in our pursuit of our goals? We need to persevere like the widow who did not let up in her prayers. “Kung may tiyaga, may nilaga”…this is what perseverance is all about. We have to persist to be a champion. We have to go through what is severe opposition… exactly what the Latin word is “perseverer” (per- through, and severus-severe). If we continue to persist in our mission in spite of severe opposition or discouragement we become true champion. If you keep pushing on a solid and strong wall, you may not be able to push the wall even a tiny fraction of a millimetre. But surely after a long period of time you will develop your muscle strength. Your capability to push will be heightened. Same is true in our IMG Mission. If we encounter opposition or counter influence, it makes us stronger if we go through it. In our early years of doing this IMG business with mission, we had encountered a lot of contradictions, oppositions, and outright humiliations. Some of my dearly loved people even called me names, and humiliated and hurt me. But it did not stop us. It only made us stronger and bolder. We decided to persevere in the mission, and go through the opposition. We came out winners…Champions!

T. Harv Eker:”Set yourself up for success by creating a mindset that focuses on opportunities instead of problems. What you focus on expands, so if you want to have more opportunities, focus on opportunities. Don’t get hung up on obstacles, barriers or all the bad news you see in the media.” Simply said, Stay POSITIVE! There is really so much negativity in the world around us. You see and hear daily news that contains more of unpleasant events in politics, showbiz and ordinary people’s lives. You watch “telenovelas” and the plot is all about, deceit, corruption, lust, greed. And that is what most people feed their mind. If we want to be a true champion, we must have a positive mind-set which we can have by going with people of the same mind-set. By reading, studying, listening to something positive like Praise and Worship songs, Books on Bro Bo Sanchez, and most importantly the Bible. In this IMG Mission, opposition, and rejections are common thing for people are really lacking in Financial Literacy. We have gone through this by believing in our mission and staying positive.

What fuels us to keep going is the desire to achieve the SMART-CY (discussed in my previous blog) goals we have set. When there are set-backs and down fall we look up and Focus to our Dreams and it keep us going. Why is that? We made our dreams so compelling that there will be no other bigger reason for us to stop. We want to give the best to our children’s children. We want to make sure we are financially free. We want to donate to Bro Bo’s ministry, the Anawim a sum of 5M in 2014, plus so many other dreams that can only be fulfilled by pursuing our dreams RELENTLESSLY….

Champions of 2012

Everyone wants to be a winner, a Champion, but not everyone can. Wanting is the first thing to do and the easier part. Working out to be a champion is the difficult part, the painful part which most people avoid. That is why not everyone becomes a champion.

In our mission, we have found these 4 tenets to be most important ones that make us champions.

1. Stay FOCUSed
2. Continuously TRAIN
3. Be RELENTLess
4. DUPLICATE

How do we stay FOCUSed…

When things are not focused on, it remains blurred and unclear. When things are unclear and not understandable it cannot be formed into reality. Take the (LED) projector as an example, if it is focused, it projects clear image, and thus can be read and understood. What is understood can then be performed or done.

Same is true with what the mind focus on. When we focus our minds, we are clear on our goals or what we want to achieve. But how do we do this? Ask me HOW???

First we need to make sure we define what we want to achieve the SMART-CY way. I would like to define this as Specific, Measureable, Aggressive, yet Realistic, and Time Bounded attached to your Compelling Y (Why). We must ensure that we are very specific in our goals. It must not be generic like saying I want to be super rich. Transforming this to SMART-CY would be I want to have a passive income of 1M start of Jan 2014 to donate 5M to Anawin by Dec 2014.

Memorizing all your goals is something okay but can be improved by simply writing it down. In the Wealth Circle we attended, Bro Bo asked us to write down 40 goals that come to our mind. But before he did that, he also shared his 40 goals with us. At this point, I want you to define just 4 Major Dreams or Goals in life you have. Just continue with this list and grow it to 40 or even more when you get home. Do it as a family. It is fun. It is even more fun to put it into pictures. Or vision boards.

Next thing we can do to is to connect our goals to our compelling reasons or emotional why. Why do we want to achieve these goals? If we cannot connect our goals to a compelling reason, then it is a weak goal, a goal that is blurred and can get us defocused. Our compelling reason must be strong enough to keep us focused on our mission.

In our Trainers Manual, the very first page we have there is the Top 10 Reasons why we want to be successful in IMG Business. I urge you to really do this. This makes sure that our focus is super clear. As an example, my compelling reason why I want to have a passive income of 1M per month in this business is for us to be able o donate 5M/year to Anawim starting 2014. The best goals to define is in unison with your compelling reason. Thus, it is really very important we complete our Top 10 Compelling Reasons. If we attach our goals to a reason, especially that of acquiring wealth, then we will not be chasing the wind. Amen!

Then our next step is to continuously pray for our goals daily. Lift up to God all our goals and plans in life and let Him bless and make them reality. For he promised in Mt7:7 Ask and you shall receive….

Achieving the goals we set won’t happen if we are not equipped and trained to achieve them. We see Manny Pacquiao fight on top of the ring, but not everyone see the difficult training he goes through before he steps in to the ring. He trains very hard and that is why he is equipped to win and be a champion. In our mission, we have to Train hard and continuously…

Our company is so generous as far as training is concerned. We are trained how to be Financially Literate as well as how to be a Successful Entrepreneur. Training is achieved by attending meetings, events, and conventions and. In our own journey towards becoming financial advisers, and successful entrepreneur, we made sure we attend meeting every Wednesday to increase our Financial IQ, and Friday to improve our business know-how. Then we also attend our team meetings for updates and recognition. I encourage you to do the same.

The best training happens in the field. I would consider this as the actual hands-on training. Training in the classroom develops our mindsets, while the field enhances our skills. Classroom flexes our mind, while the field strengthens our heart. The more we go to the field, the more we believe what we do, the more we learn how to share our mission, and the more we gain confidence. Rejections are what stretch our capabilities, while our wins and successes make us more confident and inspired to go for more wins. Practice makes perfect.

Then, we supplement our training by reading books. Our System Builder is the best book to read and reread to learn. We read books by Bro Bo the 8 Secrets, the 8 Habits of Happy Millionaires, and How to Prosper among others. We attend other seminars and most importantly, we attend the Feast every Sunday at PICC.

Financial Education never stops. Learning is a continuous process.

Manny Pacquiao needs a coach to be properly trained. Someone who analyses and looks at how he moves, and how his opponents moves. He then comes out with a game plan and a training plan to develop the skills to prepare him for the fight. Same with IMG. We have to have our Coach or Trainer. In our own experience, we looked up to those who had been successful in IMG like Mam Shirley and Sir Manny San Miguel, Mam Ginalyn and Sir Rey Labrado the two husband and wife CEO Team of IMG that we admire and look up to as our coach . We listen and learn from Sir Joen and Sir Noel. Sir Joen for the business strategies, and Sir Noel for the Financial Literacy. We also do not miss the opportunity to listen to WFG Leaders like Vivian Olero. Most especially to our Head Coach Xuan Nguyen. We also get coaching on investment strategies from Rex Mendoza. Listening to their coaching hasten our process of being our own financial coach. And our best source of coaching is through our spiritual mentor, Bro Bo Sanchez.

We then take time to analyze our business progress every month and come out with strategies every 6 months to achieve our goals. We use the 4S Methodology to do this. This is discussed in detail in another blog. We pick out the best techniques and ideas from our coaches or mentors and innovate for success. One innovation we have done is to make full use of multimedia and computer technology to our advantage. We also had made sure; we build strong relationships with our business partners through our meetings and informal gatherings. We take time out to stop by and drop by with our business partners to provide informal coaching sessions. We get coached and we coach others. It is like a getting our bucket filled up and emptying it up to our team on a continuing cycle.

If you have champion coaches like them, you are a sure champion, and eventually can become a champion coach yourself!

We shall tackle on the next blog the remaining two topics: Be RELENTLess , and DUPLICATE….

God bless!
